Acceptable Use Policy

1.1This policy applies to everyone who uses PolicyStack, whatever you've bought. It sits alongside the Terms of Service — breaching this policy is a breach of those terms.

2.1You must not use PolicyStack to do, or to help anyone else do, anything unlawful.

2.2You must not impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your connection to one.

2.3You must not use the platform to harass, defame or infringe the rights of anyone else.

3.1Please remove personal details — names, dates of birth, contact details and any information about individual children or staff — before uploading a document to the AI checker. You only need the policy text; the check doesn't need to know who anyone is.

3.2Don't upload special category data (health information, safeguarding records, criminal records) or anything you wouldn't be comfortable being processed by an automated system. If a document can't reasonably be stripped of that detail, don't upload it — email us instead and we'll help.

3.3Only upload documents you're entitled to share — your own organisation's policies, not a third party's confidential material.

4.1Don't scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site or its content outside normal browser use, probe or attempt to bypass its security, or try to access another account or data that isn't yours.

4.2Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying prompts, models or source code behind the checker or any other feature.

4.3Don't use automated means to create accounts, run checks, or otherwise consume credits or platform resources outside genuine, individual use of the service.

5.1A breach of this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or closure of your account, as set out in Terms of Service §9. Where a breach involves unlawful activity, we may also report it to the relevant authority.
